To my delight, someone named MechPlasma worked out a NES style Vista theme, which brought me back to my childhood, when my little friends and i were crazy for the "Tank", "Super Mario"and games like that. I don't know whether you've had the same experience. But it has truly become a piece of memory that remains with me forever. Here are words from the author.
So I found out how to make your own visual style in vista, and this is the first thing I tried out! It's not much, all that's changed from regular Vista is the start bar, taskbar, and sidebars. The one thing I do really like about it is that it uses the Aero 'hidden background' thing to show a good variety of NES characters in the window bars!

To apply the theme, do as the followings.
â… Use Vista Visual Master to apply the theme.

Put the file into C:/Windows/Resources/Themes/ . Turn to desk top and right-click-personalize-Colors and appearence-Open classic-choose.
