I don't know if any of you are running Windows 7 with a Nvidia Geforce MX440 Graphic card, but if you are, here is a problem you may coeme across: the refresh rate is locked so that you have no choice for a 60Hz or higher option. What's more, if you right-click on Computer and hit manage, the Nvidia Geforce MX440 cannot be recognized as a display adapter in Device Manager.
However, we can fix it, so don't let yourself down. I think you may have tried other drivers but they just didn't work. If so, here is the way to fix the problem.
* Download a Nvidia Geforce MX440 driver for Windows 2000/XP
* Unzip to a empty folder, D:\Nvidia, for example
* Now the installer will continue automatically, do NOT hit "Next", click on "Cancel" instead
* Now right-click on Computer and hit manage
* Double-click on Display Adapter in Device Manager
* Switch to the "Driver" tab and hit "Update driver"
* Here select "Browser my computer...."
* Navigate to D:\Nvidia and have the driver updated
* Done
