Windows 7 MUI (Multilingual User Interface) Language Packs (or Language Interface Packs LIP) is used to translate and convert between two or more preferred display language on menus, dialogs, wizards and other components on Windows 7 user interface such as menus, including Welcome Screen if user wants. With the release of Windows 7 RTM Build 7600.16385 final gold DVD ISO, the complete set of 36 MUI language packs for Windows 7 RTM have been released.

The MUI language packs for Windows 7 RTM is available for Windows 7 Ultimate edition only, and is distributed via Windows Update or Microsoft Update to supported system as optional update. The DVD ISO images for the Windows 7 language packs also been released via various channels such as MSDN or TechNet, which have been leaked for download.

The first ISO for Windows 7 RTM language packs contain most (35) language packs, while the second language packs ISO contains only Traditional Chinese (Taiwan zh-tw) language pack. After downloading the Windows 7 RTM language packs in ISO format, extract the content of the ISO to retrieve lp.cab cabinet file. Each MUI language has its own resources on a lp.cab.
